Pet Clippers & Paw Trimmer

I got this for my border collies excessive bum floof which was almost to the floor! Did a good job but it turns out I’m not very skilled and my dog is yet to forgive me for her new hatchet job haircut 😬

Our spaniel’s fur changed drastically after she was spayed and hand-stripping just wasn’t helping as much as it did before. So we decided she needed to be clipped. She had never been clipped before due to her having a double coat so we were worried about her accepting us doing it. However, they are pretty quiet and they glided through her fur so easily that she wasn’t bothered by them. We did heavily reward her and it took 2 of us to ensure she stayed still (one using the clippers and 1 offering treats) but that is due to our dog being a wiggle bum. We fully groomed her body (she is long and tall for a cocker) in about 5-10mins.

As this also came with the smaller tool we used this for her paw pads. She HATES her paws being done anyway but this tool was so good that we were able to trim the fur between her toes quickly and thus minimise the stress on her. I was able to do this on my own a day later.

Only time will tell how these will last but they feel really sturdy and good quality so we are hopeful they will last for a few years.

These clippers are amazing. I bought them for a Lakeland terrier after realizing hand stripping is too hard for me to do. I also have a poodle cross who is nearly fifteen, she's never let me near her with clippers so it's had to be scissors all the way for her, it used to traumatise both of us when she needed clipping. I thought I'd try her with these as they were so quiet. She let me clip her with them with minimum fuss, after all these years I couldn't believe it. I used the precision clippers around her feet, her face and her bum and she was good as gold. I didn't need the scissors at all. I can't recommend these enough.... oh, and they're great for Lakeland coats as well.

An update on my review. The precision clippers stopped working, they just wouldn’t charge at all. I got hold of the seller, not expecting much to be honest, but they replied really quickly and sent out some new ones straight away. I could not fault the service and the friendliness in resolving the problem. Five stars all the way

I bought these clippers and they do the job I guess I have a cockapoo dog and I find that these do get stuck and snag sometimes but that could be because his hair was extremely long , you do have to go slow whilst cutting with them but they are decent
